New concept boats have been fantastic. We can't fault them from first contact to present day in relation to customer service and the build itself. Darren and his team were really flexible with our spec and personal touches that we they were always friendly and helpful.
Aftercare has been great and they have visited the boat twice since completion to sort out minor snags (expected on any new boat).
They are laid back in their approach and we felt listened to throughout. Darren and the team are easy to communicate with which is something we really valued as not everyone naturally works in this way.
The finish on the boat is exactly as we would expect. We love our new home which is a 60x12 widebeam, and would highly recommend new concept boats to anyone.

It's been an absolute pleasure to have had my widebeam designed and built by New Concept.
They were always available to answer my questions and their expert knowledge guided me through the process of having my boat designed from scratch and they also made me feel comfortable and engaged in the process. A fantastic experience!
As a newbie to boat life they have been very supportive and helpful every step of the way and help me create a fantastic new life!

After first meeting Darren and his team I knew they were the Narrowboat builders for me. Having visited the Crick boat show, I knew exactly what I wanted on my boat.
All the details were discussed and the team allowed me to visit to view progress throughout the process. First name terms were quickly established with all members of the team which made the build very personal.
A few alterations were made throughout the build which were no problem to the team.
Their craftsmanship was second to none and I could not recommend them highly enough.

When my wife and I thought of getting out of the rat race and living a simpler life on the water we found New concept boats in Northwich. After a couple of phone calls we went over to look at the boats they were working on at the time. Our thoughts of buying a shell and working on it bit by bit were blown out of the water (no pun intended....)
We saw the standard of there work and enthusiasm in what they do.. Over the next 12 months they were in constant contact with us regarding ideas about the build. Once the shell was delivered to there yard we were over most weekends to see how it was coming along. They would send photos of daily progress and always on hand to answer our questions or give there advice.. from start to finish the whole experience was brilliant. The day our new home was delivered to us was one of the most exciting days so far.. We live aboard full time and we're loving it.. the experience of the build was made as stress free as possible..

I found New Concept Boats by chance and thankful that I did. They are a friendly, professional company to deal with. They helped us through the entire process from first plate to finished sail away which is what we ordered. They kept us informed of the process and met us at the fabrication place so we could see the boat literally being built. They also sent us some pictures as it was coming along. Nothing was too much trouble in fact they went the extra mile in terms of delivery. The lads worked hard to ensure we got our boat for Christmas, best present in the world. I would heartily recommend using New Concept Boats in fact I will be going back to get another one in three years time 👍👍.
